Easter in Dún na Sí
Celebrate Easter with us at a delightful outdoor Egg Hunt on the 4th April 2026. Set in a natural, open-air setting, this family-friendly event invites children to explore, play, and search for colourful Easter eggs while enjoying fresh air and sunshine. Alongside the egg hunt, capture lovely springtime moments, and share in the joy of the season. It’s the perfect way to welcome Easter, connect with nature, and create lasting memories with family and friends.
Skib Weaving
In this workshop you will learn a practical skill that people in Ireland relied on for centuries on farms and in homes.
A traditional Irish heritage basket, the skib was traditionally used to strain and serve potatoes. It was made to suit the size of the family who all sat around it to eat, then rinsed and hung beside the fireplace to dry, becoming an integral part of the house and home.
The skib that we will be making will be a beautiful and colourful version that can be a statement feature hung on the wall in your home!
Tea, coffee and biscuits provided during the day. Please bring your own lunch if you would like to have something more substantial during the day.
