Celebrate Open Heritage Day in Dún na Sí, step into the rich traditions of Irish life through hands-on demonstrations and family-friendly experiences.
The highlight of the day will be a multidisciplinary craft demonstration put together by Irish Heritage Crafts Co-op, where visitors will explore the foundations of rural crafts in the Irish community. Crafts on display will include blacksmithing, willow basket making, green woodwork and leather work.
Guests can also join one of the guided tours, delivered by the park’s most experienced tour guides. Young or old, everyone will find something to enjoy among the many fascinating stories of Irish history and mythology.
