Crann Guided Royal Canal Greenway
Guided walk along the Royal Canal Greenway in Mullingar, known for its scenic beauty, rich heritage and abundance of wildlife. Soak in the peace and tranquillity of the Royal Canal banks where a unique heritage awaits you.
This Crann event will be hosted by Isolde Dingerkus and James Lowry. They are delighted to lead a canal walk in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath - meeting at the Green Bridge. Highlighting wonderful Irish Biodiversity, including mini forests planted as part of local school projects. Please wear appropriate footwear and weather appropriate clothing. Come join us and enjoy nature at its best. Time: 18.30-19.30pm
This trail also connects seamlessly with the Old Rail Trail Greenway, a 42km dedicated walking and cycling trail following the historic Midlands Great Western Greenway from Newbrook, Mullingar to the River Shannon in Athlone.
